Ranger
Ranger was adopted in October of 2018 and passed on February 1st of 2020. We fell in love with him and his quirks so quickly! Him and his older sister bonded immediately and became best friends.
Loved to listen to him whine for love, sing the song of his people lol, clean his sisters ears and eyes, and watch him sunbathe. His cuddles were the best, and so unforgettable! Sweetest soul
Called him our “sausage man” since he looked like a burnt sausage on the top lol. We loved every part of him. He wasn’t on this planet long enough, and If love could have kept him alive, he would’ve lived forever!
Forever my baby boy, we love him and miss you daily!

Molly
Gosh where do I begin. Molly was the best dog! She was very special, the first dog I had as an adult. She loved to go to daycare at Sugar Hill with her brother Murphy. She also loved going to the groomers Ms. Jill. She loved playing bubbles, she and Murphy would play bubbles all day if they could. She was also known as a shadow chaser, for any of you that don’t know what that is instead of chasing the ball, she would chase the shadow of the ball. She would spend hours running back-and-forth underneath the birdfeeder as birds flew back-and-forth I had to literally drag her away every day. She was that way until the very end she was still chasing the shadows the day she left me. I was so lucky, everyone who met Molly said what a good well behaved golden doodle she was, and she was she was calm, sweet and pretty much a perfect dog. I wouldn’t have changed anything except for having more time with her. I remember the terrible day I went into Sugar Hill crying that something was wrong with Molly. Dr. Bentley was wonderful he said he would take care of it and let me know. Dr. Bentley saw a mass in Molly‘s stomach, it was stomach cancer. He himself took Molly over to the emergency vet for me. After an operation and having nine more precious months with Molly she passed away at our home in her favorite spot underneath her bird feeder that she loved so much! She was just shy of her 9th birthday. (Aug 23rd 2010- Ang 8th 2019) I will never forget her the sweetest dog ever, rest in peace my sweet baby girl mama loves you!
Sophie & Murray
Sophie (2007-2021, left) and Murray (2009-2020, right) the best, most ridiculous, and most loving duo. They kept me sane during the teen years.
Delilah
Delilah was a rescue that came through SHAH kitten program. She was immediately scooped up by one of our technicians. Little did we know that little Delilah had a host of underlying health concerns. When she failed to thrive, she was diagnosed with everything from intestinal parasites, bloodborne parasite, detached retina, chronic UTIs, and feline leukemia. Even with a poor prognosis her mom did everything she could medically to make Delilah more comfortable and give her a happy life. Even if it would be cut short. In January 2020 we said goodbye at 2 years old because her leukemia had progressed into lymphoma. She was loved by her human little sister and slept on her mom’s chest every night. She is greatly missed.
Missjiff
We lost our Missjiff in June of 2020, just before her 10th birthday to Lymphoma. She always came with mom to work and loved daycare. Keeping her fiery older sister in line was her job. She loved to swim, hike, go for runs, and her most favorite thing in the whole world Fetch. Missjiff was the perfect combination of lab and german shepard, all of the energy and focus but none of the issues! In January of 2018 her human sister was born. They loved eat other, Missjiff was so affectionate to Emma and it only got stronger once Emma started eating real food! To this day Emma still asks us if Missjiff will come home. It’s very hard, but we know this just means their love for each other was strong.
Bandit
I brought Bandit home February 1, 2020. He was not just a pet. He became my buddy, my companion. He loved going for rides and walks. He also enjoyed his naps.
He was 11 when I got hime so I knew I wouldn’t have him too many years so I pledge to make what time we had his best time. As it turned out, he did the same for me.
He entered eternity on Saturday, October 22, 2022. I look forward to the day when we can go on walks together again he won’t stumble because of bad hips.
