Dr. Alex Rivera

Dr. Rivera has always had a deep love for animals. She grew up in Cumming, Georgia and has always surrounded herself with animals of all kinds. Dr. Rivera is a “Double Dawg” meaning she attended the University of Georgia for both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees (Go Dawgs!).

Professionally, Dr. Rivera thoroughly enjoys ophthalmology, ultrasound imaging, and dermatology. Dr. Rivera also loves building relationships by helping her clients’ pets live long and healthy lives. She has a passion for preventative medicine, wellness, and senior care.

Outside of the hospital, you will find Dr. Rivera spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs (Milo and Lincoln). She enjoys lake days, cooking, working out, and cheering on the Dawgs!
